Know The Origin are UK stockists of Girlfriend Collective colourful activewear. Each pair of Girlfriend Collective gym leggings, sports bra and gym shorts are ethically and sustainably made using recycled plastic bottles (RPET). This eco-friendly brand uses 25 recycled water bottles in every pair of leggings.
It all started with a legging made out of recycled plastic bottles. Girlfriend Collective débuted their 1st style in the summer of 2016, where they put out an open call for women to pre-order it free of charge. Quang and Ellie wanted to help people lead more sustainable lives and rethink the activewear industry’s role in saving the earth. They chose every part of their process, so that their transparency was more than just a flashy headline, but consisted of substance and resulted in a beautiful product. They have found a community of people who cared about where their clothes come from as much as how they look.
