60% Organic Cotton

40% Recycled Polyester

This mix of organic cotton and recycled polyester (rPET) uses less water than cotton and has a low impact on the environment. The organic cotton is 100% plant derived and grown without using fertilisers, pesticides and toxic chemicals. The rPET is made from PET plastic bottles, industrial polyester waste and old garments, drastically reducing landfill, soil contamination and environmental pollution.

Certificates for this fabric include the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and the Global Recycled Standard certification.

At Riley Studio, their products are designed for life, not just a season. They believe in a circular future, where people and the planet work together at equilibrium, so they have put eco-innovation and sustainability at the core of everything they do.

They are committed to using recycled waste materials and responsible natural fibres in order to create meaningful, gender-neutral wardrobe staples. They strive to lead by example, making sustainability an imperative within the fashion industry, and the world.

Founded in August 2018 by Riley Uggla, Riley Studio was created with the aim of tackling overproduction and overconsumption, alongside a mission to positively change consumer mindsets about sustainable fashion. They believe that everyone shares an equal responsibility to protect and preserve our planet so they hope to inspire everyone to live in a more sustainable way.
