Humans Are Vain
Working as a buyer for a luxurious footwear brand, Chris got frustrated with the questionable ethics and environmental impact of their footwear. In response to this, Chris founded Humans Are Vain, a footwear brand using sustainable and recycled materials such as Pineapple leaves and recycled plastic ocean trash. Manufactured in Portugal and Sweden, Chris has carefully selected ethical factories with the highest possible standards. Ensuring they operate a circular economy, each product can be recycled at the end of life. Currently, they are working on innovative products such as biodegradable 3D printed footwear and 3D printed sneakers made from textile waste.
